Where supported, each record can carry source type, source URL or domain where appropriate, collection method, timestamp, provenance metadata, validation state, confidence, transformation history, and reason for qualification.
Source policy
Source, purpose, jurisdiction, and use case matter.
Swaylen prioritizes self-sourced and first-party / public-source discovery rather than purchased lead databases, and is designed to evaluate source, purpose, applicable restrictions, and permitted use before data enters downstream workflows.
Public data is not automatically legal to use for every purpose, and public data is not automatically GDPR-compliant. Swaylen does not claim otherwise.

Swaylen should not treat every website or source as automatically eligible. Governance controls are part of the design.

Swaylen is built to reduce misidentification of suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, competitors, directories, forums, blogs, and irrelevant companies — using qualification, evidence, confidence, reason codes, and human review. Swaylen does not claim an accuracy percentage it cannot verify.
